By combining the most commonly used elements of a funeral service we have been able to create five cost effective funeral packages for you to choose from.

The chart below clearly outlines what is included in each package and how much you will pay. Of course if you wish, you can create something more personal by combining other elements of service with these packages to develop a more meaningful funeral experience unique to your loved one.

Personal Family Funeral Care

Alex Gow Funerals philosophy of providing personal care extends from the moment we take your loved one into our care. We guarantee to continue that personal care at all times until our service to you is completed.

“Take your loved one into our care” are words used by every funeral director when talking to families. Unfortunately for some funeral companies the term “our care” is not always true.

When Alex Gow Funerals are called upon to transfer your loved one from the place of death into our care, we guarantee this task will be carried out by our own professional staff. We do not engage third party or contract transfer companies.

Your loved one is transferred into our care to our own mortuary facilities and we guarantee the careful preparation of your loved one will be carried out by our own fully trained and experienced mortuary staff. We do not use third party contract mortuaries or their staff.

We have our own fleet of fully maintained modern Funeral vehicles, we do not use Hire-a-Hearse companies.

Your loved one transferred into our care during normal business hours. * Travel further than 50Kms will incur mileage charges.
Meet with you at our centrally located office at Deception Bay to arrange funeral details. *
Prepare and lodge all necessary cremation documentation.
Registration of the death with Births, Deaths & Marriages.
Qualified mortuary personnel to prepare and dress your loved one.
Create and place a funeral or death notice in the Courier Mail newspaper (up to 6cm).
Attend to the cremation and all necessary charges at Great Northern Crematorium.
Use of the Crematorium Chapel and multimedia equipment for one alloted time slot. *
Liase with medical personel if required.
Supply our standard size, fully lined, Satin Teak coffin (The Fundamental).	Basic Coffin		Basic Coffin
Arrange a celebrant or clergy to officiate at the funeral service ($440).
Provide a Certified Copy of Death Certificate for Estate purposes.
Opportunity for a private viewing at the Crematorium.
Arrange for a ceremony to be held, provide professional staff to ensure all needs are met.
Provide a spray of bright seasonal flowers to place on the coffin ($240 Value).
30 Professionally designed and printed Order of Service Sheets (4 Pages @ A5).
Create and provide 1 copy of our professional DVD tribute – “Reflections of a Life” to be played at the funeral service (Family to provide us with 25 photos and 1 song).
Use of the Crematoriums catering facility for one alloted time slot.*
Provide refreshment package for 30 guests with catering (Selection 1).
Provide 1 position for ashes in the Memorial Wall at the Great Northern Garden of Remembrance. #
Trained funeral staff available at all hours for support and advice.
No Credit Card Surcharge when payment made. (We accept Mastercard or Visa Only).
